Optimized Timing and Fueling:
Depending on the modifications to the car, the fuel/timing is optimised to get the most from these using the fuel in the car.
Top Speed Limiter Removed:
155mph (some sw versions are higher) is now removed.
Quiet Cold start:
The car will start when cold like a warm start. You want get the retarded timing, high revs that is used to warm up cats when stone cold.
Gears 1-3 Throttle Limiter Removed:
Stock and most XXX tunes have a 50% throttle limiter upto 5k in the first 3 gears. Even though you go full throttle, the throttle body only opens 50% to 5k.
Cold Oil temperature limiter Raised:
You will only get the full revs when oil temps are upto 70 degreesC.
Secondary Air Disabled:
Another vacuum controlled solenoid that can cause any issue with any vacuum controlled solenoid(flaps, exhaust flaps, airbox flaps).
Manifold Flaps Disabled:
When the inlet manifold is deflapped we disable this operation so you will never get any more manifold flap codes or limp mode because of flap play.
Exhaust Flaps Mapped for Sport Mode:
On the stock map the flaps will open and close depending on driving, even in sport mode they will still randomly close.
When Mapped in non sport mode the exhaust flaps stay shut all the time apart from above 5k rpm. When in Sport mode exhaust flaps are open all the time.
Linear throttle Reponse:
When mapped and in non sport mode the throttle response is more linear – more like an old skool throttle cable so 20 % pedal position is closer to 20% throttle position. This will make driving slowly and pulling away easier with less kangaroo effects. This exaggarates the oe feel from non sport to sport mode after tuning, but both modes have exactly the same power with 100% throttle. Sport mode throttle response is unchanged.
Left Foot Braking:
OE when you touch the brake pedal with throttle still applied it will cut the throttle. LEft foot braking is now enabled so you can use the brakes and throttle at the same time, when you are rallying or tracking your RS4!
Cat Check Disabled:
For precat deletes, race cats and decats that do not pass oe cat check. This is disabled. With precats adn racecats the car will still pass an MOT.
Fast dual ECU data Logger:
We patch the 2 ecus so you can use VEHICAL data logger. Now you can log both ecus at the same time and for example we log 38 variables at 33 samples/sec on both ecus at the same time(76 variables@33samples/sec. With one run we can log everything we need to see how the car is running. VCDS only logs 1 ecu and 12 variables at 7 samples/sec.
