Stage 2 tuning of a car refers to hardware adjustments like upgraded or larger intercoolers, downpipes, or intake/exhaust modifications. Stage 1 to Stage 2 power will usually boost power output an addional 10-15% but also the torque figures will increase by up to 15-20% which is a noticeable improvement that you can feel.

• Upgraded Intercooler

Fitting a larger and more efficient intercooler helps maintain lower intake temperatures, preventing heat-induced power loss and ensuring consistent performance.

• Large Bore Downpipe

Fitting upgraded downpipes provide greater increases in horsepower and torque on turbocharged vehicles by allowing exhaust gasses to flow easier as they leave the turbo.

Stage 2 to Stage 3 usually boosts power output by 25% due to the larger turbo which is a noticeable improvement over Stage 2. Fitting a larger and more efficient intercooler helps maintain lower intake temperatures, preventing heat-induced power loss and ensuring consistent performance and will cope with the extra stresses of the new turbocharger.

STAGE 3 is at your own risk. We will map the car to be as safe and powerful as it can be but increasing the power and torque so far beyond the factory specification means it will need appropriately reduced service intervals and maintenance.
