Audi RS6 C6 V10 5.0 TFSI (BUH)
AUDI C6 RS6 (4F) 2007-2010 ENGINE CODES – BUH
STOCK POWER – 580PS STOCK TORQUE – 650NM
As of January 2010, the C6 RS6 was Audi's single most powerful car ever. We have Stage 1 to 3 packages available for this car that will take power to 700-1000PS and 900-1100nm
The RS6 C6 has an all-wheel-drive system (quattro), paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and features adaptive air suspension that balances sportiness with comfort.
The RS6 C6 was a predecessor to the current RS6 Avant (C7 and C8), but its V10 engine and performance set it apart as one of the most thrilling versions of the RS6.
Its combination of luxury, practicality, and raw performance has earned it a cult following, especially among enthusiasts who love high-performance wagons.
STAGE 1 PACKAGE DETAILS:
Experiencing Stock to Stage 1 power for the first time always puts a smile on the customers face, finally the car is tuned to its true potential and feels like it should. Our Stage 1 Audi tuning package for the Audi RS6 C6 V10 5.0 TFSI (BUH) truly delivers impressive power gains, boosting power output as much as 20% over stock and torque by 40%.
Stage 1 tuning of a car refers to a set of modifications that enhance the vehicle’s performance, typically without requiring significant changes to its internal components or a lot of downtime. It gains a noticeable increase in power and driving experience without going overboard with complex upgrades.
Here’s a breakdown of what the MRC Stage 1 Package for the Audi RS6 C6 V10 5.0 TFSI (BUH) includes:
- In-house developed MRC ECU Stage 1 Remap
The most common part of Stage 1 tuning is adjusting the car’s Engine Control Unit (ECU), which governs the performance parameter settings like air-fuel mixture, ignition timing, and boost levels. This Stage 1 remap is the culmination of months of dedicated work by our highly skilled engineers at MRC Tuning working on a bespoke tune that will optimize these settings to increase power output, torque, and fuel efficiency without requiring any mechanical changes. This is the most cost-effective and non-invasive method to improve performance whilst staying extremely safe but usually producing more power and torque than our competitors whilst maintaining a safe tune.
- Upgraded Air filter
Upgrading to a high-flow air filter or a performance intake system helps the engine get more air, leading to better combustion and more power.
A better intake allows the engine to breathe more freely, improving throttle response and overall performance.

STAGE 2 PACKAGE DETAILS:
Stage 2 tuning of a car refers to hardware adjustments like upgraded or larger intercoolers, downpipes, or intake/exhaust modifications. Stage 1 to Stage 2 power will only usually boost power output by not only 25-27% but also the torque figures will increase by up to 65% which is a noticeable improvement that you can feel.
Here’s a breakdown of what the MRC Stage 2 Package for the Audi RS6 C6 V10 5.0 TFSI (BUH) includes:
- In-house developed MRC ECU Stage 2 Remap
Building on the Stage 1 tuning package of the ECU this Stage 2 remap will take advantage of the extra hardware upgrades with a more bespoke tune that will optimize the power output and torque whilst staying extremely safe.
- Gearbox Tune
Tuning a Transmission Control Unit (TCU) refers to modifying the software that controls the automatic transmission in a vehicle. The TCU is responsible for shifting gears, controlling torque delivery, and optimizing the performance of the transmission. Just like with engine tuning (ECU), TCU tuning can enhance driving dynamics, performance, and efficiency.
- Upgraded Air filter
Upgrading to a high-flow air filter or a performance intake system helps the engine get more air, leading to better combustion and more power.
A better intake allows the engine to breathe more freely, improving throttle response and overall performance.
- Exhaust modifications
Removal of secondary elements provide greater increases in horsepower and torque on turbocharged vehicles by allowing exhaust gasses to flow easier as they leave the turbo.
- Optional Full exhaust kit
The full exhaust will provide greater increases in horsepower and torque on turbocharged vehicles by allowing exhaust gasses to flow easier as they leave the turbo and the tune can be increased to take advantage of the extra breathing.
Booking information
-
- Stage 2 – We would require a non refundable deposit of £150 to secure the booking, and for the car to be left with us for 3-5 hours to carry out the work.
- Stage 2 + Full exhaust fitting – We would require a non refundable deposit of £2,000 to secure parts and booking and for the car to be dropped off and left with us for 2-4 workings days.

STAGE 3 PACKAGE DETAILS:
Stage 3 is at your own risk. We will map the car to be as safe and powerful as it can be but increasing the power and torque so far beyond the factory specification means it will need appropriately reduced service intervals and maintenance.
Stage 3 tuning of a car refers to hardware adjustments like upgraded turbochargers plus larger intercoolers, downpipes, or intake/exhaust modifications. Stage 2 to Stage 3 power will usually boost power output by not only 50% but also the torque figures will increase by up to 65% which is a noticeable improvement that you can feel.
Here’s a breakdown of what the MRC Stage 3 Package for the Audi RS6 C6 V10 5.0 TFSI (BUH) includes:
- In-house developed MRC ECU Stage 3 Remap
Building on the Stage 2 tuning package of the ECU this Stage 3 remap will take advantage of the extra hardware upgrades with a more bespoke tune that will optimize the power output and torque whilst staying extremely safe.
- Upgraded Gearbox + Tune
The physical gearbox will need to be upgraded to cope with the extreme power and torque of this package.
- Water Meth injection kit (WM)
By injecting water-meth into the intake, it lowers the combustion temperature and helps prevent knocking. This is especially important in high-boost applications (turbocharged or supercharged engines), where the combustion temperature can rise, leading to detonation so cooling the intake air and maximizing power output are critical.
- Upgraded Air filter
Upgrading to a high-flow air filter or a performance intake system helps the engine get more air, leading to better combustion and more power.
A better intake allows the engine to breathe more freely, improving throttle response and overall performance.
- Full exhaust kit
The full exhaust will provide greater increases in horsepower and torque on turbocharged vehicles by allowing exhaust gasses to flow easier as they leave the turbo and the tune can be increased to take advantage of the extra breathing.
- Upgraded Intercoolers
Fitting a larger and more efficient intercoolers helps maintain lower intake temperatures, preventing heat-induced power loss and ensuring consistent performance.

Engine related FAQ
All tuned Vehicles should be ran on Audi long-life 5W40 oil.
All 2.0L 2.5L and 4L engines should be ran on NGK race plugs once tuned.
Please let us know if service work needs to be added to your estimate
Service Intervals:
- Oil and filter change once a year or every 10k
- Major engine service every 2 years or every 20k
- Transmission (gearbox, haldex, diffs, transfer box) should be done every 3-4 years, every 35k
- Depending on how the car is driven, if the car is driven hard/ abused etc then these intervals should be cut in half.
Fuel
Please make sure your car arrives with at least half a tank of fuel and is always run on the best fuel, either Tesco 99 Momentum or Shell Vpower
