One of the most recognisable sounds in Audi tuning we offer MRC Stage 2 and 3 Packages for the Audi B7 RS4 4.2L V8.
The 4.2 L (4,163 cc) 32v V8 engine of the B7 RS 4 is based on the previous all-alloy 40v V8 from the B6 S4, and shares many parts, and Fuel Stratified Injection, with the 4.2 FSI V8 engine in the Q7. The engine includes new cylinder block construction, and is a highly reworked, high-revving variant (redline at 8,000 rpm; rev limit of 8,250 rpm).
STAGE 2 PACKAGE DETAILS:
Power Figures obtained are depending on the carbon build up inside the engine components.
We would require a non refundable deposit of £150 to secure the booking.
We would require the car to be with us for 3-5 working days to carry out the work. Please make sure your car arrives with at least half a tank of fuel and is always run on the best fuel, which in the UK is Tesco 99
Injectors are becoming a common issue on the B7 models, we do recommend having them removed and replaced for the latest revision, especially if the car is above 80k miles. We do also offer testing and cleaning. Please note that we have come across injectors being seized in place, this could lead to further time being spent on removal as well as the injector(s) having to be replaced – for more information about injector cleaning click here.
When checking and cleaning Injectors they should always be flow matched to be within 1% of each other, depending on your results will depend on if we can re-use or if we have to replace them. If you would like this to be priced up please let us know so we can adjust your estimate to suit.

Basic Carbon Clean
This process will remove the carbon buildup on the engine intake tracts… which releases additional horsepower, torque and engine response through the cleaning and refinements.

Full Carbon Clean
This process removes the inlet manifold and fully cleans the internals, which releases additional horsepower, torque and engine response through the cleaning and refinements.
STAGE 3 PACKAGE DETAILS:
STAGE 3 is at your own risk. We will map the car to be as safe and powerful as it can be but increasing the power and torque so far beyond the factory specification means it will need appropriately reduced service intervals and maintenance.
We would require a deposit of £10,000 to secure parts and booking, and for the car to be left with us for 5-10 working days.

Optimized Timing and Fueling:
Depending on the modifications to the car, the fuel/timing is optimised to get the most from these using the fuel in the car.
Top Speed Limiter Removed:
155mph (some sw versions are higher) is now removed.
Quiet Cold start:
The car will start when cold like a warm start. You want get the retarded timing, high revs that is used to warm up cats when stone cold.
Gears 1-3 Throttle Limiter Removed:
Stock and most XXX tunes have a 50% throttle limiter upto 5k in the first 3 gears. Even though you go full throttle, the throttle body only opens 50% to 5k.
Cold Oil temperature limiter Raised:
You will only get the full revs when oil temps are upto 70 degreesC.
Secondary Air Disabled:
Another vacuum controlled solenoid that can cause any issue with any vacuum controlled solenoid(flaps, exhaust flaps, airbox flaps).
Manifold Flaps Disabled:
When the inlet manifold is deflapped we disable this operation so you will never get any more manifold flap codes or limp mode because of flap play.
Exhaust Flaps Mapped for Sport Mode:
On the stock map the flaps will open and close depending on driving, even in sport mode they will still randomly close.
When Mapped in non sport mode the exhaust flaps stay shut all the time apart from above 5k rpm. When in Sport mode exhaust flaps are open all the time.
Linear throttle Reponse:
When mapped and in non sport mode the throttle response is more linear – more like an old skool throttle cable so 20 % pedal position is closer to 20% throttle position. This will make driving slowly and pulling away easier with less kangaroo effects. This exaggarates the oe feel from non sport to sport mode after tuning, but both modes have exactly the same power with 100% throttle. Sport mode throttle response is unchanged.
Left Foot Braking:
OE when you touch the brake pedal with throttle still applied it will cut the throttle. Left foot braking is now enabled so you can use the brakes and throttle at the same time, when you are rallying or tracking your RS4!
Cat Check Disabled:
For precat deletes, race cats and decats that do not pass oe cat check. This is disabled. With precats and racecats the car will still pass an MOT.
Fast dual ECU data Logger:
We patch the 2 ecus so you can use VehiCAL data logger. Now you can log both ecus at the same time and for example we log 38 variables at 33 samples/sec on both ecus at the same time(76 variables@33samples/sec. With one run we can log everything we need to see how the car is running. VCDS only logs 1 ecu and 12 variables at 7 samples/sec.
Map custom options
Rear Lambdas disabled:
These can be deleted – for custom exhausts.
Crackle:
On overun and with clutch pressed the car will crackle. When you are in sport mode and esp is off you will have overun crackle, otherwise this is disabled. This can be abused and is at your own risk.
Adjustable Launch Control and Flatshift:
You can set the rpm you want launch control set to and then at stationary with clutch pressed adn wot on the throtlte it will go to these revs until th eclutch is dropped. flat shift means you can do a wot gear change the ecu will drop revs and pop while you change. These functions can be abused and and are at your own risk.
Map Switching:
You have 2 maps and an immobiliser mode. If you want to run 95ron fuel, octane booster, racefuel or E85 you can switch betqween 2 maps. The 3rd map you can leave the car in an immobilsed state so it can’t be started or stolen unless the car is taken out of the immobiliser map.
DYNO:
Dyno runs included with before and after runs.
HEALTH CHECK:
An engine health check is included that is performed on the dyno and all codes read and saved for the engine and then all learnt values are saved inc camchain timing, and learnt fueling, then critical readings are logged including: airflow, timing, timing retard, knock voltages, learnt fueling, realtime fueling, high and low pressure fuel pressures, injectors, solenoids, valves, flaps, camchain timing offsets, vacuum is logged, etc.
