economy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Stage 2<\/strong> &#8211; We recommend doing a carbon clean to get the car back to stock power and then we can tune the ECU and TCU with our custom Stage 2 software.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s a breakdown of what the MRC Stage 2 Package for the Audi S8 5.2L V10 FSI includes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>In-house developed MRC ECU Stage 2 Remap<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">The most common part of Stage 1 tuning is adjusting the car\u2019s Engine Control Unit (ECU), which governs the performance parameter settings like air-fuel mixture, ignition timing, and boost levels. Just like with engine tuning (ECU), TCU tuning can enhance driving dynamics, performance, and efficiency.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Upgraded Air filter<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">Upgrading to a high-flow air filter or a performance intake system helps the engine get more air, leading to better combustion and more power.<br \/>\nA better intake allows the engine to breathe more freely, improving throttle response and overall performance.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Carbon cleaning the intake manifold and inspection of changeover flaps<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">We use a combination of walnut blasting and specially developed in-house techniques to remove the carbon buildup.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">The changeover flaps work like this: In the lower RPM range, a long intake manifold path is opened in order to increase torque. In the upper RPM range, a short intake manifold path is opened, this short position produces an increase in engine power output. These flaps are known to break and can fall into the engine, repair kits can be sourced.
